January 16, 2014 Weave Practice

I started Tessa on four weaves today and she was pretty baffled. Suddenly she had trouble with the first three too! We kind of struggled our way through it and she was getting it slowly but it clearly was stressful for her.

And then I had an idea.

I borrowed one of the concepts from 2x2 weaves and set up three poles, about five feet of space, and then three more poles. In no time, this happened.

I bet I'll be able to move these closer and closer and I'll have 6 poles much faster than I expected. I'm wondering if I'm going to need to continue with the channel weaves that we are working on?

If this works, I'm going to publicize it as my own weave method. Brenna Weaves, anyone? Fender Poles, perhaps?
